APC Urges Unity in Anambra for 2027 Elections

On Thursday, during a peace meeting at Transcorp Hilton, Dr Ben Nwoye, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), called on party chieftains in Anambra State to set aside personal differences for the party's electoral success ahead of the 2027 general elections. Nwoye expressed concern over the party's history of electoral defeats attributed to internal discord, stating that Anambra APC has been perceived as lacking leadership and unity.

He urged stakeholders to rise above factionalism and work towards a cohesive party structure capable of winning elections. Nwoye emphasized that the upcoming elections present significant opportunities for the APC to challenge the All Progressives Grand Alliance, stressing that victory requires organization, functional structures, and a message that resonates with the electorate.

He concluded that peace-building within the party is essential for mobilizing voters and achieving electoral success.
