APC Launches Reconciliation Efforts in Anambra Ahead of 2027

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced a reconciliation effort in Anambra State, with a warning against temporary ceasefires. During a stakeholders’ engagement in Abuja, Dr.

Benjamin Obi Nwoye, the APC National Deputy Chairman (South), announced the establishment of a Fact-Finding and Reconciliation Committee tasked with investigating the ongoing crisis within the Anambra chapter. The committee aims to reconcile aggrieved members and propose lasting solutions.

Nwoye identified key issues causing discord, including the removal of elected officials, disputes over candidate substitutions, and litigation without exhausting internal resolution mechanisms. He stressed that internal divisions could jeopardize the APC's electoral success in the upcoming 2027 elections, which include not only President Tinubu’s re-election but also victories in governorship and legislative contests.

Hon. Tolu Bankole, the APC National Leader for Persons with Disabilities, urged members to resolve their differences swiftly to avoid repeating past mistakes.
