Fayose Promises Political Lesson to Makinde Over Land Issues

Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, declared in an interview with Channels Television that he intends to teach Seyi Makinde, the current governor of Oyo State, a political lesson. This statement comes amid allegations that Makinde has "stolen" land, which Fayose claims he will retrieve.

Fayose warned that disrespecting political support will lead to negative consequences for Makinde. He criticized Makinde's governance, stating that he is not a politician who takes things for granted and accused him of destroying the Southwest region's political structure.

Fayose also mentioned that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has been undermined under Makinde's leadership, asserting that the upcoming elections are not far away and that trust in the electoral process must be restored.
