Nigerian Ports Authority Expects Arrival of 30 Vessels with Petroleum Products and Food Items in Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has revealed that 30 vessels are set to dock at Lagos ports, including Apapa, Tin Island, and Lekki Deep Sea Port, carrying a range of goods such as petroleum products and food items. The vessels are scheduled to arrive between January 26 and February 6.

Among the goods expected are gasoline, urea, fresh fish, bulk gypsum, bulk wheat, and other general cargo. The NPA noted that 12 tanker vessels have already arrived at Lagos ports and are awaiting berths, carrying items like alkaline, bulk urea, crude oil, base oil, and more.

Currently, 22 ships are present for discharging various goods like bulk urea, crude oil, base oil, general cargo, bulk gypsum, bulk wheat, raw crude oil, and aviation fuel at ports including Tincan, Apapa, and Lekki. This influx of vessels and goods signifies significant economic activity at the Lagos ports.
