Bauchi State Rehabilitates 5,000 Youths from Drug Abuse and Vices

The Bauchi State Youth Rehabilit Network has successfully rehabilitated 5,282 youths from various social vices in Bauchi State. The chairman, Aminu Muham, announced this during a stakeholder engagement event.

The program aims to transform the lives of vulnerable young people by providing moral and vocational rehabilitation. The Bauchi State Commission for Humanitarian Affairs, Hajara Yakubu Wanka, emphasized the crucial role of parents in shaping children's moral behavior.

Saidu from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps criticized the growing trend of parental negligence leading to youth involvement in criminal activities.
