81 Division Holds Jummuat Prayer for Army's 163rd Anniversary

On Friday, the 81 Division of the Nigerian Army conducted a special Jummuat prayer session at the 81 Division Central Mosque in Dodan Barracks, Lagos, to commemorate the Army's 163rd anniversary. The event was attended by senior military officials, soldiers, and members of the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA) and the Nigerian Army Soldiers Wives Association (NASWA).

Major General Adebayo Abdulrahman Babalola, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 81 Division, represented the command and described the prayer session as an opportunity to thank Almighty Allah for blessings upon the Nigerian Army and the nation. He emphasized the importance of reflecting on the Army's achievements over the years and honoring the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the country.

The GOC commended the troops for their courage and dedication in safeguarding Nigeria's territorial integrity against various security threats. The prayer session was led by Lieutenant Colonel Husein Elej, the Deputy Director of Islamic Affairs for the 81 Division.
