93% of Nigerians Believe Country is Heading Wrong Way

According to a recent independent survey, 93% of Nigerians feel the country is heading in the wrong direction, attributing this dissatisfaction to the current state of affairs under President Bola Tinubu's administration. The African Democratic Congress (ADC), represented by Bola Abdullahi, highlights rising poverty rates, which have reportedly increased to 63%, and worsening living conditions as significant concerns.

The ADC accuses the Tinubu administration of exacerbating poverty through its economic policies, while the All Progressives Congress (APC), represented by Felix Morka, defends the government's reforms and claims they have produced positive outcomes. The survey revealed that 88% of respondents described the economy as bad, and 74% reported poor living conditions.

Furthermore, 82% of Nigerians have gone without sufficient food, medical care, cooking fuel, and clean water in the past year. The ADC emphasizes the human cost of the administration's policies, while the APC's claims of redirecting funds from fuel subsidies to vital sectors are questioned due to poor budget execution.
