Nwifuru Threatens Local Chairmen Over Election Votes

During the swearing-in of newly elected chairmen and vice chairmen of Ebonyi State’s 13 local government areas, Governor Francis Nwifuru declared that any chairman who does not secure votes for his party in the upcoming 2027 general election would be removed from office and replaced with a councillor.
