Abia North Group Endorses Otti for Second Term

A non-partisan group in Abia North has officially endorsed Governor Alex Otti for a second term, emphasizing their commitment to sustaining good governance beyond 2031. The declaration was made during an inaugural meeting held at the residence of Chief Ebuem Ezikp in Abiriba, Ohafia Local Government Area.

The group, which includes leaders from various sectors, commended Otti's performance in education, infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, security, transport, and public service. They unanimously agreed to mobilize eligible voters to obtain permanent voter cards ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting featured prominent stakeholders, including Prof. Mkpa Agu Mkpa and businessman Robert Onyeani, who discussed strategies to enhance governance and improve road networks in Abia North.

The group resolved to support credible candidates and exclude career politicians from their ranks, aiming to ensure that Otti's governance template is preserved and built upon in future administrations.
