Abia Labour Party Supports Otti, Forms Strategic Committees

Chieftains of the Labour Party in Nsulu, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State, convened a strategic meeting on Monday, led by Pastor Caleb Ajagba, the Chief of Staff to Governor Alex Otti. They issued a communiqué reaffirming their support for Otti and announced the formation of three strategic committees aimed at strengthening the party in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

The stakeholders praised Otti for the transformation in Abia State, particularly highlighting projects like the Abia International Airport and the Umuomaiukwu Smart School. They emphasized unity within the party, ensuring equal status for all members, and committed to grassroots mobilization to communicate the government's achievements.

The committees established include the Empowerment Committee, tasked with coordinating beneficiaries for government programs, and the Voter Education and Sensitisation Committee. The stakeholders also welcomed assurances regarding compensation for land acquisition related to the airport and encouraged community participation in state empowerment programs.
