APC Defectors Boost Adeleke's Campaign Ahead of Election

The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) has reaffirmed its confidence in Governor Ademola Adeleke's chances of winning the upcoming governorship election in Osun State, scheduled for August 15. Barrister Pelumi Olajengbe, the spokesperson for TICC, noted a daily influx of members from the APC into the Accord party, indicating strong public support for Governor Adeleke.

Olajengbe criticized the APC for allegedly promoting violence and coercion, asserting that the people's shift towards Adeleke reflects their dissatisfaction with the APC's past governance. He emphasized that support for Adeleke is based on his performance and that threats or violence would not deter this support.

Olajengbe called on the APC to acknowledge its past failures and to seek forgiveness from the electorate. He expressed gratitude for the people's support and urged them to vote in large numbers to ensure Adeleke's re-election, which he believes will continue the positive changes in Osun.
