Iyiola Omisore Leaves APC, Joins Accord Party in Osun

Iyiola Omisore, a prominent figure in Osun State politics, has announced his departure from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the Accord party. He expressed concerns about the lack of a level playing field within the APC, particularly in light of past defeats by Ademola Adeleke, who has won against the APC three times.

Omisore believes that supporting Adeleke for a second term is beneficial, as he has made significant improvements in Osun State, including infrastructure developments like dual carriageways and flyovers. Omisore criticized the APC's handling of its leadership and the perceived undervaluation of long-standing party members.

He concluded that he sees no future within the APC and has chosen to align with the Accord party, emphasizing the need for political lessons learned from past experiences.
