Adeleke's Aides and Accord Chieftains Join APC Ahead of Election

On Tuesday, aides of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and key figures from the Accord Party announced their defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as part of preparations for the upcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15. Among the defectors are Moyoad Lukman, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Market Affairs, and Azeez Kazeem, another Senior Special Assistant.

Other notable figures include Ley Olagbaju, a House of Representatives aspirant, and Asamo Gbenga, the youth leader of the Accord Party in the Central Local Government Area. Olagbaju stated that the decision to join the APC was influenced by the capabilities of the APC governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, to drive growth and development in Osun State.

Wole Ok, the Director General of the APC Campaign Council, welcomed the defectors and assured them of equal opportunities within the party.
