ADC's John Sura Confirms Party's 2027 Election Bid

General John Sura (rtd), the gubernatorial candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Plateau State, asserted that the ADC remains dedicated to strengthening democracy and providing a credible political alternative for Nigerians. He dismissed claims that the party would not appear on the ballot for the 2027 presidential election, labeling such assertions as tactics by political opponents to undermine the ADC's growing influence.

Sura emphasized that the ADC would indeed be on the ballot and expressed confidence in the party's ability to deliver effective governance if elected. He highlighted the party's manifesto aimed at combating poor leadership and restoring hope among Nigerians.

During a press conference in Jos, Plateau State, he urged voters to consider the performance of current leaders, particularly criticizing the All Progressives Congress (APC) in both Plateau and at the national level. Sura also addressed rumors of discord with political figures from other parties, asserting that there is a distinction between politics and personal relationships.
