ADC Uploads Atiku Abubakar and Amaechi to INEC Portal

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) announced on Tuesday that it has successfully uploaded the nomination particulars of its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and vice-presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal. This action is a significant step in the ADC's preparations for the 2027 general elections.

Bolaji Abdullahi, the party's national publicity secretary, confirmed the upload, emphasizing the importance of this process in providing Nigerians with a credible alternative. Atiku Abubakar, who previously contested for the presidency under the People's Democratic Party in 2019 and 2023, is now the ADC's presidential candidate.

Rotimi Amaechi, a former governor of Rivers State and ex-minister of transport, accepted the nomination to be Atiku's running mate. The ADC aims to position itself as a major opposition platform in the upcoming elections, presenting a credible alternative to the current administration led by Bola Tinubu.
