Ten Arrested in Connection with Benue MACBAN Chairman's Murder

The Benue State Police Command has arrested ten suspects linked to the killing of Alhaji Ardo Moham, the state chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria. The arrests occurred on the night of June 27, 2026, during a coordinated operation in the Otukpo area.

The suspects identified include Titu Thyodenda (25), Utib Sam (20), Owoicho Ameh (18), Sundai Useni (21), Sundai Ogbanj (46), Daniel Raphael (23), Adokol John (24), Samuel Ogazi (32), Agbo Daniel (25), and Onazi Jame (30). The attack took place shortly after a peace meeting in the Ohimini Local Government Area, where Alhaji Moham was ambushed and shot dead by gunmen.

State Commissioner of Police Cletu Nwadiogbu praised the tactical team's swift response and assured the public that investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend all individuals involved in the killing. He urged residents to remain calm and cooperate with security agencies.
