Police Arrest 10 Suspects in MACBAN Chairman Murder

The Benue State Police Command has arrested 10 suspects in connection with the murder of Alhaji Ardo Risku, the state chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN). The arrests occurred during a tactical operation carried out on the night of June 27, 2026, in the Otukpo Local Government Area.

The operation was based on credible intelligence, as stated by the police spokesperson, DSP Udem Edet, in a statement made available to journalists in Makurdi. The suspects include Titu Thyodenda (25), Utib Sam (20), Owoicho Ameh (18), Sundai Useni (21), Sundai Ogbanj (46), Daniel Raphael (23), Adokol John (24), Samuel Ogazi (32), Agbo Daniel (25), and Onazi Jame (30).
