APC Unveils Sharafadeen Alli for Oyo Governorship Race

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced Sharafadeen Alli as its gubernatorial candidate for the Oyo State governorship election scheduled for 2027, with Adesoji Adedeji Alli as his running mate. The unveiling ceremony occurred in Ibadan and attracted numerous party leaders, stakeholders, and loyalists.

During his acceptance speech, Sharafadeen Alli expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, whom he described as a visionary leader, and emphasized the need for unity among party members to achieve success in the upcoming elections. He acknowledged the contributions of the APC national work committee and urged aggrieved members to set aside differences for the party's success.

The event was attended by notable figures, including Oyo APC women leader Felicia Opatund and former Speaker of the State House of Assembly Olagunju Ojo.
