Adeleke Leads Early in Osun Governorship Election Results

In the Osun governorship election held on Saturday, Governor Ademola Adeleke, representing the Accord Party, has emerged with an early lead according to results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). As of 4:10 AM on Sunday, Adeleke has won in 12 out of the 17 local governments that have been reported.

His main opponent, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has secured victories in five local governments. The candidate from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Najeem Salaam, has not won in any local government thus far.

The results from various local governments show Adeleke leading significantly in several areas, including Osogbo with 36,480 votes and IFE EAST with 27,201 votes, while Oyebamiji's highest count was 30,474 votes in Osogbo.
