Adeleke Leads APC Rival by Over 60,000 Votes

In the ongoing election results collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Adeleke, the candidate of the Accord Party, has garnered a total of 268,957 votes across 14 local government areas, leading the APC candidate, who has secured 204,809 votes. The current vote difference between the two candidates stands at 64,148 votes.

Adeleke achieved victories in nine local government areas, with notable performances in Ede North, where he received 35,427 votes against the APC's 10,283, and Osogbo, where he polled 36,480 votes compared to the APC's 30,474. Other areas where Adeleke won include Ede South and Iwo.

The APC managed to win five local government areas, including Obokun and Ola-Oluwa. It is important to note that these figures represent only 14 of the 30 local government areas in the state, and the overall winner has not yet been determined as the collation of results is still ongoing.
