Adeleke Commissions Lameco Flyover Bridge in Osogbo

On Wednesday, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke officially commissioned the Lameco Flyover Bridge project in Osogbo, part of a larger initiative that includes the completion of 300 kilometers of intra-city roads across the state. Adeleke commended residents for their patience during the construction period, which caused traffic disruptions, and praised the contractor for delivering quality infrastructure on schedule.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining the new infrastructure and warned residents against street trading and vandalism, stating that the bridge is designed to enhance human and vehicular movement within Osogbo and improve socio-economic activities. The governor also announced a temporary road closure to ensure public safety during the commissioning ceremony.

Engr Bashir Bello, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, issued a public notice regarding the road closure. The project is part of a commitment to implement major infrastructure projects transparently and without compromising the quality of local content.
