NANS Praises Adeleke's Election Victory as Leadership Endorsement

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone D, praised Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke's recent election victory as a significant endorsement of his leadership over the past four years. In a statement signed by Comrade Adeyemo Josiah Kayode, the NANS Coordinator for Southwest Zone D, the association noted that student participation from various tertiary institutions, including Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State University, and others, played a crucial role in the electoral process.

NANS assessed the administration's performance in student welfare and educational infrastructure, acknowledging areas of progress and challenges. The association also recognized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to a fair electoral process and commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Nigeria Police Force for their roles in ensuring a peaceful election.

Looking ahead, NANS urged the governor to prioritize a student-centered agenda, emphasizing demands for increased funding for state-owned institutions, infrastructure upgrades, and enhanced security measures.
