Nigerians Favor Adult, Betting, AI Sites in July 2026

In July 2026, Nigerians predominantly visited adult, betting, and artificial intelligence websites, according to data from Semrush’s Traffic Analytics tool. Google topped the list with 318.45 million visits, followed by YouTube with 46.42 million visits.

Adult site XVideos ranked third with 37.64 million visits, while SportyBet, a betting platform, ranked fourth with 36.28 million visits. The AI platform ChatGPT secured the fifth position with 35.32 million visits, marking a 9.81% month-on-month increase and a 33.43% year-on-year increase.

Other notable sites included Facebook, WhatsApp, and various betting platforms like Bet9ja and 1xBet. Semrush reported that Google’s traffic decreased by 6.58% month-on-month and 11.13% year-on-year, while TikTok saw a 16.49% year-on-year increase.

The ranking is based on clickstream data from over 200 million anonymized users, reflecting online activity in Nigeria.
