AEDC Promotes 547 Employees, Approves 579 Step Increments

Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AEDC) has announced the promotion of 547 employees and the approval of 579 step increments as a result of its 2025 Performance Appraisal Exercise. This initiative reflects AEDC's commitment to recognizing excellence and rewarding performance while aiming to transform into a customer-centric, high-performing electricity distribution company.

The promotions and increments were approved by the Company’s Management and are intended for employees who have shown exceptional commitment and professionalism in advancing AEDC’s strategic objectives. Chijioke Okwuokenye, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of AEDC, described this announcement as a significant milestone in the company’s transformation journey, emphasizing that employees are the foundation of AEDC’s future.
