Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, Others Lead Policy Skills For Civil Service Training

The Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, in partnership with the Office of the Head of Civil Service Federation (OHCSF) and the Oil Producers Trade Section (OPTS), has launched the second edition of the Federal Civil Service Directors Training Programme. The initiative aims to equip Federal Civil Service Directors with advanced skills to lead effective government policies.

The program focuses on project management, communication, and leadership skills, with a goal to enhance policy writing and review competencies. According to Chioma Njoku, the Director of Programmes at the Foundation, the training will empower directors to develop, review, and evaluate policies that deliver meaningful benefits to citizens.

The collaboration between the public and private sectors is seen as crucial for building a strong and efficient Civil Service, which is essential for national prosperity and stability. The program seeks to bridge the gap between government intentions and the everyday reality of citizens by developing practical policy skills among senior Civil Service leaders.
