Airport Staff Returns $1,700 Purse to Grateful Passenger

Frank Omoroji, a casual worker at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), found a lost purse at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Ikeja, which contained $1,700, a British passport, a Nigerian passport, and a credit card. The purse was discovered in the departure hall of Terminal 2.

Following standard procedures, Omoroji handed the purse over to aviation security (AVSEC) officials, who then passed it to customs services. An urgent announcement was made within minutes to locate the owner, a female Nigerian passenger who had resigned herself to the worst regarding her lost belongings.

Thanks to Omoroji's actions, every single item in the purse was returned intact, sparking widespread praise from colleagues and officials.
