Akure LG Chair Dr. Fasua Wins Outstanding Award

Dr. Gbenga Timothi Fasua, the Chairman of Akure South Local Government Area in Ondo State, was awarded the Most Outstanding Local Government Chairman Award by the Chartered Institute of Strategic Management.

This recognition was conferred during an event in Akure. Fasua reiterated his administration's commitment to sustaining development across the council area and expressed that this recognition would motivate his team to intensify service delivery.

He assured residents of Akure that the mega complex at Ilesha Garag would be completed on schedule, emphasizing the project's aim to modernize trade facilities and improve commercial activities. Fasua acknowledged the support of Ondo State Governor Hon.

Lucki Orimisan Ayedatiwa, which has been instrumental in executing various development projects. He also highlighted ongoing initiatives, including the operation of light market programs, waste management efforts, and the provision of free healthcare services, including dental care and surgical interventions, to enhance community health and education.
