AYIF Defends Gbajabiamila Against Atiku's Allegations

The Arewa Youth Integrity Forum (AYIF) responded to calls from Atiku Abubakar's media team for the suspension of Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President of Nigeria. AYIF described Gbajabiamila as a man of integrity, contrasting his record with that of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who has faced numerous corruption allegations throughout his political career.

The forum criticized Atiku for hypocrisy, especially in light of his own controversial history, including a U.S. visa ban due to corruption concerns and allegations of embezzlement linked to the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF). AYIF emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into Atiku's past rather than targeting Gbajabiamila, who they claim has a clean record.

The forum reaffirmed its commitment to good governance and accountability in public office, urging scrutiny of Atiku's wealth accumulation during his time in public service.
