FGGA Dismisses Bribery Claims Against Femi Gbajabiamila

The Forum for Good Governance and Accountability (FGGA) has publicly dismissed bribery allegations against Femi Gbajabiamila, who serves as the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu. The group described the claims made by former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Adeniyi Adeyemi, as frivolous and baseless, lacking supporting evidence.

This statement comes amid growing public debate regarding the allegations that Gbajabiamila demanded a bribe in connection with the controversial Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC). The FGGA emphasized that Gbajabiamila's long record of public service speaks for itself and insisted that the allegations do not reflect his reputable career in governance.

They argued that public officials should not be subjected to media trials without credible evidence and warned against politically motivated attempts to tarnish the image of senior government officials. The group urged Nigerians to allow due process to take its course and refrain from drawing conclusions without proper investigation.
