US Firm Threatens to Embarrass Tinubu at UNGA

Von Batten-Montague-York, a policy advisory and lobbying firm based in the United States, has announced plans to publicly campaign against Nigerian President Bola Tinubu during the upcoming United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. This campaign is in response to allegations linking Tinubu to heroin trafficking in the 1990s.

The firm stated that while Tinubu can attend the UNGA due to protections for UN member state representatives, he will face significant embarrassment. They asserted that his anticipated meeting with US President Donald Trump will not occur, as key members of the Trump administration have indicated that Trump will not meet privately with someone accused of heroin trafficking.

The firm also plans to inform New Yorkers about Tinubu's alleged involvement in drug smuggling, asserting that world leaders attending the UNGA will be aware of these allegations.
