Lobbyists Linked to Atiku Threaten Tinubu at UNGA

Von Batten-Montague-York, a lobbying firm associated with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, announced plans to expose allegations against President Bola Tinubu at the upcoming United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. The firm stated via its verified X handle that a proposed meeting between Tinubu and United States President Donald Trump would not take place, citing that members of the Trump administration indicated Trump would not meet with Tinubu, whom they accused of being an alleged heroin trafficker.

The firm emphasized that despite these allegations, Tinubu, as Nigeria’s President, has the right to attend the UNGA under the protections afforded to representatives of UN member states. They expressed anticipation for Tinubu's attendance but warned that he would face embarrassment due to the heroin-trafficking allegations, claiming that world leaders would be aware of these accusations.

The firm stated their intention to inform New Yorkers about Tinubu's alleged involvement in smuggling heroin into the United States, although these claims remain unverified.
