EFAB Properties CEO Nwaora's Forgery Case Adjourned Again

The CEO of EFAB Properties Ltd, Fabian Nwaora, failed to appear in an Abuja High Court for his arraignment on forgery charges, leading to the case being adjourned to April 22. Nwaora faces seven counts of forgery, including allegations of presenting a forged international passport purportedly issued by the Nigeria Immigration Service on April 5, 2024.

The prosecution, represented by Wisdom Madaki, informed the court that Nwaora's absence was surprising, as he had been served with court documents. Defense counsel Ezekiel Egbo explained that Nwaora was out of town.

The court, presided over by Justice Aliyu Shafa, granted the request for adjournment to allow for the arraignment to proceed on a definite date. The charges against Nwaora include the forgery of a company letterhead and a National Identification Number, which allegedly contravenes sections of the Penal Code.
