Alli Campaign Organization Urges APM to Build Political Structure

The Senator Sharafadeen Alli Campaign Organisation (SSACO) has urged the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) to first build a nationwide political structure before aspiring for the presidency. SSACO, which supports Senator Sharafadeen Alli's governorship ambition under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, criticized APM's demand for President Bola Tinubu to step aside for Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde in the 2027 presidential election.

SSACO described APM's request as laughable and politically unrealistic, asserting that securing the presidency requires substantial electoral support and organization, not mere press statements. The organization challenged APM to demonstrate its political strength and electoral structures across Nigeria, suggesting that Makinde should first address political challenges in Oyo State before seeking national leadership.

SSACO emphasized that a politician aiming for the presidency must show strong support in their home state, stating that Nigerians would not support someone known for undermining local governments.
