Alli Promises Seamless Succession in Oyo State Election

Sharafadeen Alli, the governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, promised to institutionalize a seamless succession process if elected governor in 2027. This pledge was made on Saturday during an award ceremony at the sixth presidential investiture of the Rotary Club in Ibadan, where he was accompanied by his running mate, Soji Adedeji.

Alli noted that Lagos State provides a worthy model for successful leadership transitions and expressed his intention to adopt a similar approach in Oyo State. He emphasized the importance of orderly leadership transitions, referencing the Rotary system as an example of effective planning for future leadership.

Alli reaffirmed his commitment to providing purposeful leadership, strengthening democratic institutions, and ensuring sustainable development in Oyo State.
