Amotekun Corps Loses Two Officers in Ambush Attack

On August 11, 2026, two officers of the Amotekun Corps were killed in an ambush while returning from their base near the Ago-Oyinbo farming area close to Ala Daadaa. The ambush involved a fierce gun battle with assailants, resulting in the deaths of the two officers and serious injuries to others.

S.A. Jimoh Adeniken, the Public Relations Officer of the Amotekun Corps, reported that reinforcements were immediately deployed to track down the attackers.
