Amotekun Corps Arrests Kidnappers and Criminals in Ondo

The Ondo State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun Corps, arrested two suspected kidnappers and eight additional suspects for various offenses, including motorcycle theft, burglary, and armed robbery. Commander Adetunji Adeleye announced these arrests as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate criminal activities and ensure the safety of residents.

He detailed a recent operation where a woman and her two children were rescued from kidnappers in the Isinigbo/Osi area, following a distress call. One suspect, 19-year-old Murtala, was apprehended with a locally made firearm after attempting to kidnap his former employer's wife in Molege, Owo.

The second suspect, 27-year-old Gambo, was arrested in Akure while negotiating ransom. The remaining suspects were involved in various crimes, including motorcycle theft and burglary, with one suspect, Mustafa Aniliasu, linked to a church burglary in Elegbeka.
