Tobi Amusan Secures Spot in 2026 Diamond League Final

Tobi Amusan has successfully secured her place in the 2026 Wanda Diamond League final, following her performance in the women's 100m hurdles event this season, where she amassed 28 points across various Diamond League meets. The final championship is scheduled for September 4-5 in Brussels, Belgium.

Amusan currently sits in second place in the Diamond League standings, behind American athlete Masai Russell, who leads with 32 points. The final races remaining include events in London, Lausanne, Silesia, and Zurich.

Russell holds the fastest time in the world this year at 12.14 seconds, while Amusan's season-best time is 12.28 seconds. Amusan, the world record holder for the event with a time of 12.12 seconds set during her historic run at the World Championships four years ago, aims to claim her fourth Diamond League title, having won consecutively from 2021 to 2023.
