Tobi Amusan Wins Paris Diamond League 100m Hurdles

Tobi Amusan achieved victory in the women's 100m hurdles at the Paris Diamond League on Sunday, clocking a time of 12.28 seconds, which matched her season's best. She finished ahead of American athletes Grace Stark, who placed second with a time of 12.38 seconds, and Alaysha Johnson, who came in third at 12.39 seconds.

This win marked Amusan's third victory in the Diamond League circuit for the season, following her earlier triumphs in Rabat and at the New Taipei City Athletics Open. Additionally, she secured gold at the African Championships in Botswana.

Amusan has recorded the second fastest time in the world this season, trailing only Masai Russell's 12.14 seconds. Despite her success, Amusan stated that she does not feel pressured to finish the season strongly, attributing her confidence to a strong support system and her injury-free condition.

She is set to compete next at the Prefontaine Classic, although she has not yet decided on her specific race.
