Anambra Security Team Neutralizes Four Suspected Criminals

On June 23, 2027, the Anambra State Joint Security Team, codenamed Operation Udo Ga Achi, neutralized four suspected criminals during a gun duel along Ogboji Ajal Road in Orumba South Local Government Area. The operation was conducted following credible intelligence regarding the movement of heavily armed members of a secessionist group.

The team, led by the police public relations officer Tochukwu Ikenga, recovered an AK-47 rifle, a general-purpose machine gun (GPMG), and a total of 53 rounds of live ammunition, among other items. Additional recovered items included two AK-47 rifles, two magazines with 29 rounds of 7.62 x 39mm ammunition, 13 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, four undetonated improvised explosive devices, police camouflage uniforms, and various electronic devices, including two Android phones, a laptop, and a point-of-sale machine.

The suspects were found in a white Toyota Sienna vehicle with the registration number KJA 919 KH.
