Anambra Supports Educational Partnerships with UNIZIK Alumni

On a recent occasion at the Government House in Awka, Anambra's Deputy Governor, Dr. Ibezim, received the National Executive Committee of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Alumni Association, which was led by its Global President, Professor Iyke Umeh.

During this meeting, the delegation formally invited Governor Charles Soludo and his deputy to the Second Zikites Converge, a global gathering of UNIZIK alumni set for August 28, 2026. Professor Umeh commended Dr.

Ibezim and praised Governor Soludo’s administration for its leadership and developmental initiatives. He also announced that the Deputy Governor would be honored at the upcoming event.

In response, Dr. Ibezim congratulated Professor Umeh on his recent election as Global President and emphasized the need for leaders to act with urgency.

He reaffirmed the state government's commitment to strengthening institutions and supporting initiatives that foster Anambra's development.
