UNIZIK VC to Keynote 5th AMTY Awards in Anambra

Professor Ugochukwu Bond Stanlei Anyaehi, the Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, is set to deliver the keynote address at the 5th Anambra Man of the Year (AMTY) Awards. The theme for this year's event is "Unstoppable Anambra," which will honor the achievements of distinguished Anambra indigenes who have excelled in various fields of human endeavor and promote the state's cultural excellence and innovation.

The AMTY Awards ceremony will recognize outstanding sons and daughters of Anambra whose contributions have significantly impacted business, education, public service, and entrepreneurship. Notable past keynote speakers include Stella Okunna, the first female professor of mass communication in Sub-Saharan Africa, George Moghalu, Francisca Nwafulugo, and Cecilia Emeh.

Professor Anyaehi, who became the 7th substantive Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University in November 2025, is an advocate for academic excellence and innovation in institutional development.
