NOA and UNIZIK Collaborate on Youth Value Reorientation

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) and Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) are in discussions to explore areas of collaboration aimed at strengthening value reorientation programs in Anambra State. The meeting took place on Tuesday, with Barr Ifeoma Chijiok, the state director of NOA, and Prof.

Ugbochukwu Bond, the vice chancellor of UNIZIK, in attendance. Barr Chijiok expressed gratitude for the visit and emphasized the importance of the agency in promoting national values such as integrity, patriotism, and social justice.

She highlighted the growing concerns regarding issues like cybercrime, internet fraud, cultism, examination malpractice, drug abuse, and violence among the youth. Despite Nigeria's abundant resources and youthful population, these challenges threaten the social fabric and undermine capital development.

The collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both organizations to address these pressing social issues and enhance the educational experience for students at UNIZIK.
