Anthony Joshua Relocates to Dubai Amid Business Interests

Anthony Joshua, the British-Nigerian boxer, has officially relocated to Dubai, as confirmed by his family, including his uncle Adedamola Joshua. This move occurred several months ago, despite ongoing security concerns in the Middle East.

Adedamola clarified that this relocation is not intended to be permanent. Joshua's move surfaced in corporate filings related to his business interests, including his companies Sparta Promotions and 258 Invest, which are registered in the UAE.

Dubai has become a preferred destination for wealthy Britons due to its lack of income tax. Financial records indicate that Joshua is liable for UK tax payments amounting to £10.1 million in 2024 and £6.3 million in 2023.

Following a car accident on December 29, which involved two members of his inner circle, Joshua is currently rehabilitating from minor injuries. He has also expanded his property portfolio with a £1.2 million investment in a 15,300 square foot penthouse in Oman.
