APC Schedules Primaries for 10 Constituencies Ahead of Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a new timetable for primary elections affecting 10 constituencies across five states in Nigeria, in preparation for the 2026 legislative bye-elections. This announcement was made in a statement signed by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.

The timetable includes primary elections for constituencies in Delta and Kogi States, where the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has restored four previously suppressed State House of Assembly constituencies: Abraka, Isoko North II, and Ughelli South II in Delta State, and Yagba West II in Kogi State. Additionally, the APC will conduct primary elections for legislative bye-elections in Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency in Gombe State; Disina and Sakwa State Constituencies in Bauchi State; Udu State Constituency in Delta State; and Dawakin Kudu State Constituency in Kano State.

The party has urged its chapters in the affected states to prepare accordingly for these elections.
