APC Chieftain Empowers 200 Tea Sellers in Katsina

Abdulaziz Maituraka, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State, launched an empowerment program for 200 commercial tea sellers. The initiative, described as the first step in a new program, involved distributing crates of eggs, cartons of noodles, and N20,000 in cash to each participant.

The event, held in Katsina, aimed to bridge the gap for those who have not previously received support. Maituraka, who serves as a special adviser to the state governor, emphasized the need for such initiatives to alleviate the suffering of people and boost small-scale businesses amid the current economic situation.

He called on Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration as it works to address economic and security challenges. Additionally, Maituraka urged support for Tinubu's re-election, citing his impressive performance in office.

APC chairman Bishir Gambo Saulawa commended the empowerment efforts and highlighted the importance of assisting the populace during economic hardships.
