APC Completes Candidate Upload Ahead of INEC Deadline

Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), announced that the party has completed the upload of all its candidates for the 2027 General Elections into the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) portal. This achievement was disclosed in a statement issued in Abuja by his Special Adviser, Media and Information Strategy, Abimbola Tooki.

Yilwatda emphasized that the APC finished this task ahead of the original INEC deadline, unlike other political parties that requested extensions. INEC had extended the deadline from August 8, 2026, to August 11, 2026.

He described the successful upload as a demonstration of the APC’s organizational capacity and readiness for the upcoming elections, which he deemed crucial for Nigeria's political landscape. Yilwatda highlighted the complexity of managing a nationwide political organization and the importance of planning and execution in the electoral process.
