APC Nominates Yakubu Danladi Salihu for Kwara Governorship

On Tuesday, the Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) officially presented the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form to Yakubu Danladi Salihu, confirming him as the party's governorship candidate for the 2027 elections. The presentation took place at the APC state secretariat in Ilorin and was attended by party chairman Sundai Fagbemi, party leaders, executives, and stakeholders.

During the event, Danladi expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and the APC national leadership, as well as to Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, for their support. He assured party members and the people of Kwara State that they would not be disappointed and called for unity within the party.

Fagbemi urged members to exercise caution on social media to avoid comments that could undermine ongoing reconciliation efforts within the party. The presentation marks a significant step in the APC's preparations for the upcoming governorship elections.
