Kwara APC Chairmen Reaffirm Danladi-Salihu as Candidate

The local government chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State have officially reaffirmed Yakubu Danladi-Salihu as the party's governorship candidate. This decision follows a primary election that was conducted transparently and in accordance with the party's guidelines.

The chairmen, including Suleiman Tejidini, Moshood Offa, and Adamu Abubakar, stated that the primary produced a widely accepted outcome, confirming Danladi-Salihu's victory. Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq described the administration as a stabilizing force that promotes unity and internal democracy within the APC in the state.

The chairmen urged party members and the general public to disregard divisive narratives that could undermine unity. They expressed confidence in President Bola Tinubu's leadership and the APC's ability to secure victories in the upcoming federal and state elections in 2027.
