Fulani Groups Endorse Yakubu Danladi for Kwara APC Candidacy

Fulani socio-cultural organizations have officially endorsed Engr. Yakubu Danladi Salihu as the governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State for the 2027 elections. This announcement was made during a meeting attended by leaders from various Fulani associations, including Miyetti Allah.

The endorsement was facilitated by former Special Adviser on Strategy to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Abdulsalam Atiku, and follows extensive consultations among stakeholders. The organizations expressed confidence that Salihu, described as a leader with experience and a vision, will continue to promote inclusive governance and strengthen security across the state.

They expect his administration to modernize and expand educational infrastructure for nomadic communities, empower pastoralists and farmers, and encourage youth and women development, all aimed at fostering peace and sustainable growth in Kwara State.
