APC Assures Nigerians of Campaign Promise Fulfillment

Abdul’aziz Yari, the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, assured Nigerians that the ruling party will fulfill its campaign promises as it seeks the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Yari made this statement on Sunday after arriving at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, from an overseas trip, where he was welcomed by party supporters.

He emphasized the APC's commitment to delivering on the promises made during the 2023 presidential campaign, stating, “I want to assure Nigerians that whatever promise we made during the campaign, we shall keep.” Yari, who represents Zamfara West Senatorial District, expressed gratitude for the support shown by the crowd and urged continued backing for President Tinubu. He also expressed confidence that the APC would remain in power beyond Tinubu’s second term and highlighted the party's preparations for the 2027 elections, focusing on defending its record in government.
